What happens when your crazy backwards music game is a commercial failure?

For Matt Gilgenbach, the answer was depression and nightmares. So like any good game developer, he made it into a game, which put us in

a series of situations inspired by his nightmares.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); Neverending Nightmares is an adventure game with no HUD, no inventory, and not much color either. It’s drawn in a very minimalistic style, with just black and white line art, and the occasional splash of blood. The

aim of the game is to escape your nightmares, but each time you get out of one, you wake up in another. Tina and I played the first three levels of the game, which you can take a look at in the video above.
