Back in February, Kotaku reported that IBM was making a

Sword Art Online is set in the year 2022, when thousands of players who have logged into a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called, well, Sword Art Online discover that they cannot log out. a standalone game per se, it does let participants see how IBM’s computing power can

recreate Sword Art Online in a virtual environment. It’s also an opportunity for the company

to show off its SoftLayer cloud service and its cognitive systems.
