The Transformers Masterpiece line of figures exists for one reason: so cashed-up adults can buy giant, expensive versions of toys that finally look like they

should have back in the 1980s. They’ve been a
go rummy little hit-and-miss of

late, some wonderful figures (like Grimlock) balanced out by some lazy repaints (ie
holy rummy every Decepticon jet), but this upcoming Soundwave piece might just be the best one yet.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c"

}).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); While it costs over USD$150, it does come with a Laserbeak figure, as well as accessories like a cassette case, a little Megatron gun, a non-transforming cassette and, best of all, an empty energon cube. Due in December, there’ll also apparently be more of his little
royally rummy cassette minions like Ravage and Rumble released in 2013.
